Face Fit Testing of close fitting Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) is a mandatory requirement; all "masks" do not fit all faces, face fit testing must be used as part of the RPE selection process and then used going forward to ensure the device remains effective.

Face Fit Testing of close fitting Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) is a mandatory requirement; all "masks" do not fit all faces, face fit testing must be used as part of the RPE selection process and then repeated at certain intervals to ensure the device remains effective going forward. If the mask does not fit (seal to the face) then it can not or will not protect the wearer
The HSE stipulates that a competent person should undertake face fit testing; we are externally assessed by the BSIF Fit2Fit Scheme; our credentials as a Fit2Fit approved tester (and trainer) can be verified at www.fit2fit.org
