About the event
This British Safety Industry Federation (BISF) fit2fit approved Face fit testing “Train the Tester” course is designed to offer theoretical and practical guidance for persons expected to undertake Qualitative face fit testing of close fitting “half face” Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE); It is also ideal preparation prior to a fit2fit assessment.
The HSE stipulates that a competent person should undertake face fit testing; the course is based around the HSEs Guidance document INDG479 which details criteria in which a face fit tester must be trained.
Certification will be issued with a recommended refresher of 12 months from date of initial training, the course covers much more than just how to undertake a fit test…
